1 – Premises The EU has begun to deal concretely with information security since 2004 when the ENISA (European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) was established and in whose first advisory committee the writer took part. A 2009 Commission Communication defined a first plan for the promotion and strengthening of the security of the digital society.
